It’s about putting it together on time, on budget, and making it
work for you.
What’s required? A discerning eye, knowledge of processes, and
knowing how to work with other professionals and the graphic trades.
And lots and lots of experience.
I’m not a graphic designer. But I’ve been close to the graphic
arts since laying out newspaper pages at the beginning of my career.
I’ve also written extensively on production for Canadian trade
magazines, and managed an award-winning graphic design and production
studio.
